Our approach and packaging are a little different, so we thought it might be helpful to share a few tips for getting the most out of your lip balm.
I discovered one of these the hard way: I once accidentally left a balm in my pocket and sent it through the washing machine. It disappeared entirely. So one thing to note — biodegradable means your lip balm will not survive a trip through the laundry.
Using the Tube
This lip balm comes in a paper push-up tube.
To use it, gently push the balm up from the bottom of the tube. Push it up only a small amount at a time so the cap can still close easily.
If you push the balm up too far, you can tap the bottom of the tube on a flat surface and it will slowly retract.
About the Paper Tube
Paper tubes are more environmentally friendly than plastic, but they are also more sensitive to water. Avoid soaking the tube or leaving it in wet environments.
In everyday use, however, we have found the tubes to be durable and reliable.
Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
